Celebrating My Sista is an event to highlight the gifts women bring to ministry and to say "thank you" to women who are active in minsirty. By ministry, we mean women who are are pastors, church mothers, Sunday school teachers, cooks, greeters, administrators, choir directors, ushers, and everything women do to build the church, spread the Gospel, and stregthen the community.

A bold and inspiring spokeswoman for God.

Outstanding ministry of encouragement and spiritual care. An overcomer who encourages others to overcome life's circumstances.

Outstanding and self-less supporter of women in ministry. One who supports and encourages female leadership
"The Spirit of Elizabeth" -
Outstanding mentor and a woman of wisdom
One who provides a place of rest and refuge for women
Our next Celebrating My Sista! award service will be March 30, 2013 at 11:00am at Angel Community Church. If you would like to nominate a woman for one of the awards listed above, simply click the e-mail link to the left. In the subject line of your email type "Sista Nomination". In the body of your email list the name of the woman you are nominating, how to contact her, your name, the award you have in mind, and a short statement (250 words or less) about why you are nominating the person. Awardees are decided by members of the Preach Sista! advisory board. Awardees will be notified prior to the event.
